LaunchEFLC.exes description is ' SecuROM Launcher '. Now the problem isn't really with the game itself, but with SecuRom Launcher. A lot faster, and more stable than I'd ever experienced on XP or even Vista before.
I've gotten this far by making a DVD/Master. LaunchEFLC.exe is part of SecuROM Launcher and developed by Sony DADC Austria AG according to the LaunchEFLC.exe version information. I've been running GTA IV on Windows 7 Build 7000 successfully for over a week.

I'm wanting to use Dlite because I've just built a new computer, minus an optical drive because they look ass ugly runing the front of my case, and I can't stand the idea of having to stick in an external DVD just to start it up. Using a resolution of 1920x1080 for both my desktop and GTA IV Using a different ENB (on a clean install of GTA IV downgraded to 1.0.7.0) - I've tried CryENB, ICEnhancer, Game4Video ENB, ProfeetENB, and the default ENBSeries for GTA 4. I can't remember exactly how but now its just saying something along the lines of "error 1000 backup disc please use original" or something (sorry how vague I'm being, I'll look for the exact error if necessary but it doesn't really say anything else). I tried making a secondary SCSI drive and played around with a few settings.Ĭonverting the disc to MDX seemed to create a new error. Tried running DLite to start the game, but it complained about securom detecting emulation software.

I installed it, had it activated through the Rockstar servers, and installed patch 1.0.7.0 (the last).
